1st Global Summit, Punta del Este.

Uruguay convened the inaugural edition of the GWTO Global Summit on Responsible EnoTourism — bringing together delegations, Ministers of Tourism, destinations and academics, and hosting the first Responsible EnoTourism GWTO Awards (Viña Santa Rita, Montevideo, Mendoza).

2nd Global Summit, Yantai.

China's iconic Yantai wine region hosted the 2nd edition, convening international associations, Ministers and delegations under the banner Inspiring TOGETHER a Responsible EnoTourism. The closing ceremony sealed new cooperation agreements and unveiled the first Biosphere® certified destination outside Latin America.
