A. DEFINITION

The Global Wine Tourism Network on Knowledge and Business comprised of public sector (governments at central, regional and local levels), and private stakeholders, educational institutions and businesses in all value chain.

B. MISSION

To develop an inclusive and sustainable governance model with those residing within tourism destinations as primary ambassadors, to be aligned with the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) framework of universal respect, sustainability, the revising of socioeconomic inequities, health and education.

C. OBJECTIVE

To enhance members’ ability to succeed both at international and local levels, to workin close collaboration with one another in promoting mutually agreed upon brands, professionalization through specialized training, and contributing to the economic development of the members’ areas of residence.
