A. DEFINITION

Global Wine Tourism Knowledge and Business Network comprised of GWTO Academy and membership of all value chain entities: public administrations (central, regional and local governments), the private sector companies and educational institutions.

B. MISSION

To develop an inclusive and sustainable governance model with those residing within tourism destinations as primary ambassadors, to be aligned with the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) framework.

C. OBJECTIVE

To enhance to the socioeconomic development of wine tourist destinations (benefits to the local population) providing comprehensive tools through academic research and specialized training programs (GWTO Academy), working in close collaboration with one another in the promotion of their respective brands and marketing of their products and services, to succeed both at international and local levels.
